Concrete
Slab volume
For patios, floors, pads, sidewalks, and other rectangular slabs. The planning amount adds 10% and rounds up to the next quarter-yard.
Project planning tools
Use these calculators to develop a starting quantity for concrete, aggregate, asphalt, Novum Wall, or Element ICF materials. Then talk through the site, product, mix, and delivery plan with Treasure State Concrete, Inc.
Seven practical estimators
Enter the finished dimensions—not bag counts or truckloads. Each result updates as you type and keeps the units visible.
Concrete
For patios, floors, pads, sidewalks, and other rectangular slabs. The planning amount adds 10% and rounds up to the next quarter-yard.
Concrete
For straight rectangular footing runs. Use quantity for repeated runs with the same dimensions.
Concrete
For round piers, post holes, or caissons with a consistent diameter and depth.
Aggregate
Estimate loose aggregate for a rectangular area. Material weight varies with product, moisture, gradation, and compaction, so the tons-per-yard factor is editable.
Asphalt
Estimate compacted asphalt tonnage for a rectangular section. Mix density varies; adjust the default 145 lb/ft³ only when you have a project-specific value.
Novum Wall
Estimate full standard retaining blocks for a straight wall face. The default 46⅛-inch length and 9-inch course height come from Novum Wall's current standard retaining block data. Edit them when your selected units differ.
The standard calculator defaults are a 46⅛-inch face length and a 9-inch course height. The manufacturer PDF also shows half, top, corner, cap, and freestanding units.
This is a rough count of full standard face units. It does not include half, corner, top, cap, freestanding, step, or curve units; base and drainage materials; grade changes; setback; reinforcement; or an engineered layout. Confirm the current product list and project design before ordering.
Element ICF
Estimate standard Element ICF forms and their concrete volume from net wall area. Current standard forms are 48 × 16 inches, or 5.33 square feet. Concrete volume varies by core, so the per-form value stays editable.
Standard forms are 48 × 16 inches, or 5.33 square feet. Use the concrete-volume table to match the selected 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, or 12-inch core before changing the per-form value.
Official site-assembled standard-block concrete-volume references are 0.07 yd³ for a 4-inch core, 0.10 for 6 inches, 0.13 for 8 inches, 0.16 for 10 inches, and 0.20 for 12 inches. Change the value above to match the selected product. The estimate excludes corners, bucks, brick-ledge and taper units, height adjusters, cuts, bracing, rebar, penetrations, and project-specific waste or displacement.
